About the event
The Diving First Aid for Professional Divers (DFA Pro) course is aimed at commercial, professional, scientific divers and aquarium staff and volunteers and meets the 2020 consensus Guidelines for Resuscitation from the International Liaison Council on Resuscitation (ILCOR) as issued by its member organizations.
The course is comprised of information from the Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries, Neurological Assessment, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries and CPR HCP plus Bloodborne pathogens.
Cost per student is $250. The class is a blended learning course with an Elearning component that needs to be completed prior to the classroom session.
