HOW WE WORK

Although our target demographic is the Utah dive community, Project Deepwater does intendto create experiences for both divers and non divers alike. Education experiences will includecommunity outreach education, PADI specialty certifications, and AAUS Scientific Divercertifications. The range of education will provide opportunities for both the diver simplyinterested in learning more about issues facing our underwater world to the conservationistlooking to develop the skills necessary to be a professional underwater scientist.Similar to our education offerings, Project Deepwater experiences will range from participatingin a single day cleanups to week long coral restoration excursions with established coralrestoration leaders. Additional experiences will involve citizen science and formal datacollection dives. All Project Deepwater experiences will revolve around our adopted projects ininvasive species surveys, habitat restoration, and coral restoration. As the organization grows,so will the scope of our conservation projects.
